Pre Production:
Before our group started to work on our short film we created storyboards, wrote down notes, figured out what film we would base it on, and then who would be what character.
We chose to base it on Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging; a scene with 4 teenage girls who talk about their lives (the main character is the focus of the conversation).
Problems/Troubles we had:
The only real problem that we had was choosing what film to recreate a scene from, this is because we all had different tastes in films and different thoughts in our head of what we wanted to do this task on and how. We chose one in the end and I think we have worked well on this one.
Production:
For actually creating the film we figured out what costumes to wear, where to film it, and we wrote down all of the lines for the conversation and highlighted our own lines; also of course we filmed our selves, we worked well.
Problems/Troubles we had:
The only problem that we had was trying to discover a place to create the right setting for our short film.
Post production:
For post production we put our movie together by using a movie making program on the computer, adding music from garage band that we created our selves and cut out any bad bits in the video clips.
Problems/troubles we had:
The only problem we had in post production was that we figured out that we had filmed one shot wrong it was meant to be closeup although that wasnt such a big deal; we also had trouble at the start trying to create music on GarageBand to match the film adequately, although we managed in the end.
Our group consisted of Ainsley, Emily, Jess, Jacqueline and I.
